What's Go Roam and how does it work?
Go Roam is a service from Three which lets you use your phone in some destinations to text and call back to the UK, and use your data, as if you were at home. Everything you use comes out of your normal allowance. You can receive messages and calls for free in these places too.
Only Essential Plan customers can't use Go Roam - you can read more on our Go Roam page.
If you're a Pay Monthly customer, you can start using Go Roam straight away and your usage will come out of your allowance. If you're a Pay As You Go customer, you'll need to buy Add-ons with our credit so your usage can come out of them.
If your data roaming is switched on, Go Roam should work automatically when you arrive in a Go Roam destination. You'll get two texts - one to confirm you're in a Go Roam country, and one to let you know how much it costs to use your phone outside of your allowance. When you're calling or texting back to the UK, make sure you replace the first 0 with +44 for it to work.
